Our role is to provide high quality management and strategic IT consulting services and capability to our clients that range from corporate, trade promotional organisations, local government, industry organisations, tertiary education, ITO's, government, and telecommunications. To do this we employ around 16 specialist people with a wide range of consulting skills. Most of our consultants have both a specific specialist skillset along with an ability to work in many of the disciplines and lines of business that are offered by CBA Consulting to our clients.

Vision - that CBA Consulting is a recognised, highly respected strategic consultancy which is sought after nationally and internationally in selected markets, as adding strategic value to our client organisations.

CBA Consulting was established in 1992 by Christine Bear in New Zealand. Starting out as Christine Bear and Associates the name was later changed to CBA Consulting Group Ltd, and along with the new branding is now known as CBA Consulting.

Since 1992 CBA Consulting has grown in both numbers of consultants and in the lines of business that we are able to deliver on today. Today there are 2 principal consulting areas covering Management Consulting and Strategic IT Consulting. Within these groups are the various lines of business such as Strategy and Organisational Change, Strategic Human Resource Management, Research both quantitative and qualitative, Asset Management, Service Management, ITIL process, IT Governance, and implementation and support capability. All of these can inter-relate and our consultants are able to work in multiple areas for instance, Research provides a backbone to most of the disciplines offered by CBA Consulting.

Locations - In the middle of 2006 all of our consultants relocated to our new office premises located at Sofrana House in the Auckland CBD. There are CBA Consulting offices located in Auckland and North Sydney Australia. We have over several years completed a number of major projects in New Zealand, Australia, India, USA, and other global locations.

Qualifications - Christine includes a B. Ed and M.M.S (Distinction) in her qualifications and she is an Associate Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management. In 2001 Christine was winner of the WISE Self-Employed Woman of the Year, and has also been invited to attend Government business leader forums on the economy. Throughout her career Christine has been an avid advocate for Women's issues.

Leadership - Under Christine's leadership CBA Consulting has grown from early beginnings to an international consultancy practice and continues to develop strategic business lines through ongoing recruitment of team members with areas of specialisation and additional expertise, and through business acquisitions. Llines of business include Strategy, Organisational Change Management, Mentoring, Research, Strategic HR, Profiles, PR and Communications, and Strategic Information Technology. The size and scope of clients and projects has also grown over the years and today the CBA Consulting teams are regularly working on major projects for Corporate organisations within NZ and internationally.

Christine has also established an excellent reputation overseas and every year spends some of her time on major projects (like Strategic Review) in places like USA, India, and Australia. Through a mentoring approach Christine continues to develop the capabilities of her staff in these key consulting areas and provides quality leadership to the business.
