CBA Consulting was established in 1992 by Christine Bear in New Zealand. Starting out as Christine Bear and Associates the name was later changed to CBA Consulting Group Ltd, and along with the new branding is now known as CBA Consulting. Since 1992 CBA Consulting has grown in both numbers of consultants and in the lines of business that we are able to deliver on today. Today there are 2 principal consulting areas covering Management Consulting and Strategic IT Consulting. Within these groups are the various lines of business such as Strategy and Organisational Change, Strategic Human Resource Management, Research both quantitative and qualitative, Asset Management, Service Management, ITIL process, IT Governance, and implementation and support capability. All of these can inter-relate and our consultants are able to work in multiple areas for instance, Research provides a backbone to most of the disciplines offered by CBA Consulting. Locations - In the middle of 2006 all of our consultants relocated to our new office premises located at Sofrana House in the Auckland CBD. There are CBA Consulting offices located in Auckland and North Sydney Australia. We have over several years completed a number of major projects in New Zealand, Australia, India, USA, and other global locations. |

After significant roles in the British Embassy in Washington DC, Senior Manager at Social Services, and a senior role at the Education Review Office, Christine embarked on a consulting career and in 1992 established CBA Consulting known then as Christine Bear & Associates. Back then, she ran a one person business working 15-18 hour days six days a week along with bringing up a young family. The business has grown substantially since then and has undergone re-branding changes every few years along the way. Today it is a recognised consultancy and brand with an excellent reputation for the quality of service it offers. |

Qualifications - Christine includes a B. Ed and M.M.S (Distinction) in her qualifications and she is an Associate Fellow of the NZ Institute of Management. In 2001 Christine was winner of the WISE Self-Employed Woman of the Year, and has also been invited to attend Government business leader forums on the economy. Throughout her career Christine has been an avid advocate for Women's issues. Leadership - Under Christine's leadership CBA Consulting has grown from early beginnings to an international consultancy practice and continues to develop strategic business lines through ongoing recruitment of team members with areas of specialisation and additional expertise, and through business acquisitions. Llines of business include Strategy, Organisational Change Management, Mentoring, Research, Strategic HR, Profiles, PR and Communications, and Strategic Information Technology. The size and scope of clients and projects has also grown over the years and today the CBA Consulting teams are regularly working on major projects for Corporate organisations within NZ and internationally. Christine has also established an excellent reputation overseas and every year spends some of her time on major projects (like Strategic Review) in places like USA, India, and Australia. Through a mentoring approach Christine continues to develop the capabilities of her staff in these key consulting areas and provides quality leadership to the business. |

Qualifications - tertiary degrees in Business, Education, Psycology, Computer Science, Marketing, Accounting, and Management. In addition we have people qualified with MCSD, PMI, Prince 2, ITIL Foundation & Practitioners, ITIL Version 3 certification, Peregrine SC and AC technical consulting, and a whole range of Information Technology certifications.
